1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you ('User', 'Creator', or 'Respondent') and FormBuilder. By accessing our platform, using the AI Agent to build forms, embedding forms on your website, or submitting a form, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue using FormBuilder immediately.

Platform Overview

FormBuilder is an intelligent Google Forms alternative empowering creators to design forms manually or via conversational AI, embed them into any website, sync submissions directly to Google Sheets, and analyze data with AI.

2. Accounts & Google Sign-In Requirement

Form Creators: To build forms, manage submissions, connect Google Sheets, and use AI analytics, creators must authenticate using a verified Google account.

Form Respondents (Mandatory Authentication): To prevent spam submissions, abuse, and automated bots, any user accessing a public or embedded FormBuilder link must authenticate with Google before viewing and submitting the form.

You agree to provide authentic credentials and are responsible for all actions taken under your authenticated account.

3. Form Creation: AI Agent & Manual

FormBuilder provides two complementary ways to generate and customize forms:

3.1 Conversational AI Agent Workflow

Creators can generate forms by providing a natural language prompt to the FormBuilder AI Agent.

The AI agent engages interactively, asking clarifying questions regarding the fields, formats, validations, and requirements you need.

Once you review and confirm the proposed schema ('Done'), the AI agent constructs and publishes the form in your workspace.

3.2 Manual Builder & Custom Fields

Creators can also build forms from scratch manually, adding custom input fields, question types, labels, placeholders, and Zod-based validation rules without using the AI assistant.

3.3 Creator Content & Legal Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of your questions, the legality of data solicited from respondents, and adhering to applicable privacy and data protection regulations.

4. Website Embedding & Link Sharing

FormBuilder allows you to distribute forms via direct shareable links, or embed them directly into your own website using HTML scripts, iframes, React components, or WordPress snippets.

When embedding forms into your website, you remain responsible for your host site's security, responsiveness, and displaying appropriate privacy notices to your visitors.

Embedded forms maintain the same verified Google login requirement to protect your website against bot submissions and spam.

5. Google Sheets Sync & Failure Logs

Real-Time Row Append: You may connect your form directly to Google Sheets. Each new form submission is automatically appended as a new row in your designated spreadsheet in real time.

Sync Failure Logging: In the event that a submission append to Google Sheets encounters an error (e.g., temporary network interruption, sheet permission changes, or Google API quota limits), FormBuilder logs the failure in your dashboard's Sync Failure Logs.

Retry & Data Safety: All submissions remain safely stored in the FormBuilder database, allowing you to review failure logs and retry synchronization automatically or manually so that zero submission data is lost.

Third-Party Dependencies: FormBuilder is not liable for data delivery delays caused by external outages, rate limits, or changes within Google's cloud infrastructure.

Guaranteed Submission Logging

Even if your Google Sheet is temporarily inaccessible, every submission is captured in FormBuilder and logged for instant recovery.

6. Submission Dashboard & AI Analytics

Submission Management: Creators can view, filter, search, and manage all form submissions in real time from the FormBuilder dashboard.

AI Agent Submission Analytics: You can interact with our AI Agent inside the dashboard to run deep analytics on your collected responses, generate summaries, identify trends, and ask natural language questions about your dataset.

AI outputs are informational analytical aids. Creators are responsible for reviewing analytical conclusions before making business or organizational decisions.

7. In-Progress Draft Auto-Save Feature

FormBuilder includes an automatic draft persistence feature. If a respondent fills out part of a form and navigates away, closes the window, or experiences an interruption, their in-progress answers are automatically saved.

When the respondent returns to the form link using their authenticated Google account, their previously entered information is automatically restored so they can complete and submit the form.

Draft auto-save operates on a best-effort basis across browser sessions and does not constitute a final submitted record until the respondent taps the submit button.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use FormBuilder for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes, including:

  • Creating deceptive forms designed for phishing, credential theft, or unauthorized sensitive data harvesting.
  • Distributing malicious software, scripts, or offensive content through form fields or embedded scripts.
  • Attempting to bypass the mandatory Google authentication requirement, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Using bots or scrapers to disrupt service availability or spam other users' forms.

9. Intellectual Property & Data Ownership

Your Content: You retain full ownership of all forms you create, questions you write, and submission data collected from your respondents.

Platform Ownership: FormBuilder, its design, AI agent logic, code, APIs, logos, and features are the intellectual property of FormBuilder and its licensors.

License to Operate: You grant FormBuilder a limited, non-exclusive license solely to host, process, and transmit your form data to provide the services described herein.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

FormBuilder is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis. While we strive for high uptime and real-time synchronization, we do not warrant that operation will be completely uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FormBuilder shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform downtime, Google API disruptions, or lost business opportunities.

11. Termination & Contact Information

You may delete your forms or terminate your account at any time through your dashboard. FormBuilder reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Acceptable Use Policy.
